Andy Reid, head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, has apparently gone the entire nine yards with his weight loss and didn’t mess around when choosing his diet plan. Various news reports and an ESPN.com exclusive article quote Andy as claiming he has lost a whopping 75 pounds using the Medifast plan.
From the ESPN.com article:
"Still, Reid looked as content Monday as I’ve ever seen him. He also looks a lot thinner after losing somewhere close to 75 pounds on a Medifast diet…"
Congrats to Coach Reid. It also shows that you don’t have to be a light eating woman to get awesome results from Medifast. Andy is a big, tough guy. You have to be to put up with Philly’s notoriously fickle fan base. Yet, even though he likely weighed more than some of his linemen and probably ate like them as well, he was still able to have massive success with Medifast.
Nutriystem has made a big deal with paid endorsements by former NFL stars like Dan Marino. But Coach Reid is not a paid endorser of Medifast. In fact, according to company insiders, nobody knew Coach Reid was even using Medifast until the story broke on ESPN.com.
This is high praise for Medifast indeed. That someone with Coach Reid’s public exposure provides such unsolicited praise for a commercial product is a rare thing indeed.
So, come on you big tough NFL loving guys. Coach Reid has paved the way. If you look like a lineman but really should be more like a quarterback, the Medifast diet can work for you.
